Application information

Visa Application Fees

To apply for a visa, you will need to pay the visa application fees, including:

  • a visa fee, collected on behalf of the consular authority
  • a service fee, collected by TLScontact for processing your application
  • and additional value service fees

1. Service fees

The service fee is mandatory for all visa applications. It covers the standard processing service provided by TLScontact.

Service fee: 100 RMB for application submitted in Beijing/Shanghai/Guangzhou, and 80 RMB for application submitted in Chengdu.

2. How to pay your visa application fees

You must pay all visa application fees through CITIC Bank, either via CITIC Bank online payment, or at a CITIC Bank counter.

If you encounter any technical issues during payment, please contact the CITIC Bank Customer Centre directly on 95558.

After payment, CITIC Bank will issue a receipt with a barcode. You must submit this receipt with your application documents.

You cannot pay these fees at the Visa Application Centre. And the payment of visa application fees does not guarantee that a visa will be granted.

The consular authority will provide the receipt for the visa fee. This receipt will be returned to you with your passport in a sealed envelope.

3. Refunds and exemptions

The visa fee and the service fee are non-refundable and non-transferable once:

  • the application has been transferred to the consular authority, or
  • the visa application has been refused by the administration, or
  • you decide to withdraw your application.

The visa fee is mandatory for all applications, unless you belong to an exempt category. If your inviter submits and processes your visa application at the Ministry of Interior of Israel, the application fee is usually exempted.

For detailed amounts, please refer to the visa fees page.
